We are currently working with an exciting digital agency based in the heart of Brighton. This role comes at a time where the agency is in an exciting period of growth so they are seeking a skilled individual to join their team for 2 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities and Experience:
- Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to create high-quality websites that meet client specifications
- Customize WordPress websites to meet specific client requirements
- Develop custom functionality for WordPress websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience creating bespoke themes from scratch within WordPress
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues to ensure smooth website performance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress updates, security patches, and best practices
- Work with clients to understand their requirements and deliver the best possible solutions
- Help to create and maintain technical documentation, such as user manuals and technical specifications
