CNC Router 2D CAD/CAM Programmer

Salary up to £17 p/h DOE
Mon-Fri - Hour's dependant on preference… 5am-3pm, 8am-5pm, 3pm-11pm
My client is a large format print manufacturing company based in Essex. They are recruiting for an experienced CNC Router Programmer to join their studio department based in Maldon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Router Programmer who takes pride in precision, quality, and delivering right-first-time results. My client is also open to CNC Router operators who may be looking for that next step into software programming. Full training and support will be given.

The Role
As a CNC Router Programmer, you will:
- Program, set and occasionally operate Texcel CNC Routers and Multicam Flatbed lasers.
- Produce high-precision components to exact specifications
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Create layout sheets for tooling, setups and repeatable processes
- Complete quality documentation accurately
- Work independently to meet deadlines and high standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain a safe working environment
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience with CNC Routers
- Strong knowledge of 2D CAD/CAM software - Artcam, EnRoute, Vcarve, Carveco etc..
- Strong work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude
- Live in a commutable distance to Maldon
- Hold a full Uk drivers' licence
