Position: Cut and Crease Minder
Hours: 6am-3pm
Location: St Neots
Purpose of a Cutting & Creasing Minder:
My client is looking for a Cutting & Creasing Minder to join their production team and play an important role in ensuring we consistently produce high-quality, fit-for-purpose carton blanks.
Working within our Cutting & Creasing department, you will be responsible for setting up and running the process efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in line with our established procedures.
Key Responsibilities of a Cut and Crease Minder:
As a Cutting & Creasing Minder, your responsibilities will include:
- Checking all materials, tooling and job requirements delivered to the Cutting & Creasing area to ensure they are correct and ready for production.
- Completing and checking control cards and associated production documentation, ensuring all information is accurate and properly authorised.
- Identifying and segregating make-ready sheets prior to disposal.
- Clearly identifying and segregating any non-conforming sheets or stock.
- Carrying out all required quality control checks throughout each Cutting & Creasing run.
- Accurately completing and signing control cards and stack identification cards.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment within the Cutting & Creasing area.
- Completing all required cleaning and maintenance schedules accurately and on time.
- Working to company procedures and quality standards to ensure finished carton blanks meet the required specification.

- Reliable, conscientious and safety-focused
- Able to work accurately and consistently in a production environment
- Quality-driven, with a good eye for detail
- Comfortable following production procedures and completing documentation
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Committed to maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation
- Previous experience in cutting and creasing, print, packaging or a similar manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
