Our client is a British company who design & manufacture cardboard folding cartons predominantly, but not exclusively, for the EU food industry.
Overview -
They are looking for a Cut & Crease Operator experienced in all areas of die cutting to work on our brand new Bobst die cutter. The successful applicant will be required to set-up and operate: Automatic Platen Cutting Machine.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Making ready jobs for die-cutting.
- Running and monitoring of jobs ensuring quality is maintained.
- Completing appropriate paperwork to verify operator, quantities and QC.
- Daily machine maintenance and Health & Safety checks.
- Completing other daily duties and requests from a Manager or Supervisor
- Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years: Experience of die-cutting in previous role
- Preferably have experience of running a Bobst Die Cutter or Automatic Platen machine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Motivated with positive helpful attitude
- Reliable, and trustworthy
- Team player with ability to also work on own initiative
- Awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety
