Are you an experienced Litho Printer looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated print team where your technical expertise and attention to detail will be highly valued. You'll operate high-specification multi-colour presses to produce precision-printed materials that meet the highest standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operate and maintain Heidelberg SM74 and SM75 presses, ensuring consistent, high-quality output
- Follow detailed instructions from work tickets and use correct materials for each job
- Be accountable for the quality and accuracy of your own work
- Maximise production output by using your knowledge and experience to optimise press performance
- Communicate with internal teams to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on schedule
- Perform routine press maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with quality and safety regulations
- Work in accordance with recognised standards including ISO9001, PS9000, BRC, FSC, and PEFC
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with Health & Safety best practices
What We're Looking For
✅ Essential Skills & Experience:
- Fully qualified Lithographic Printer with expertise in multi-colour leaflet or similar printed products
- At least 5 years' experience operating 4-colour Heidelberg or similar presses, including 2+ years in multi-colour perfecting
- Confident decision-maker with the ability to work independently
- Strong communicator and effective team player
🎯 Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with Heidelberg SM74, SM75 or Miyakoshi Web presses
- Experience with Guillotines, Folding Machines, and other finishing equipment
📚 Minimum Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
