My client is a specialist signage and large-format graphics company delivering high-quality branding and wayfinding solutions across the UK, primarily within the commercial property sector.
The Opportunity
They are seeking an experienced large format print production Technician with a strong signage background to play a key role in our production team. This position requires technical expertise, precision, and a proactive approach in production and installation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operation and maintenance of large format print, cutting, and laminating equipment
- End-to-end involvement in signage production and fabrication
- Pre-flight checking and setup of print files for efficient output
- Reviewing artwork for accuracy (layout, scale, colour, materials) prior to print
- Supporting Production Manager and Senior Technicians with stock control and workflow planning
- Providing technical insight to improve production efficiency and output quality
- Maintaining accurate job tracking and production records (I.T Proficient)
- Collaborating with designers to ensure optimal material selection and execution
- Some signage installation on-site when required, including travel
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience within the signage / large format print industry (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of print processes, materials, and finishing
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and briefs
- Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of manual handling and working at height
- Proficient with hand tools
- Full UK driving licence
