Job Title: Warehouse Forklift Operator
Location: Thame, Oxfordshire
Job Type: Full-time / Rotation Shift-based
(Mon- Fri 6am-2pm & Mon - Thurs 2pm -midnight)
About the Role
My client is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Forklift and Picker Operator to join our busy warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods, supporting day-to-day warehouse operations and ensuring stock is handled accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently (counterbalance / Pivot flexi truck / pallet truck as required)
- Load and unload deliveries
- Move, stack, and store goods in designated areas
- Pick, and prepare orders for certain production processes
- Carry out daily forklift checks and report any faults
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Always follow health & safety procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Requirements
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence
- Previous warehouse or forklift operating experience
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Good computer skills
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
