Role: Wide Web Flexographic Printer

Location: Derby

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Shift Pattern: 6-2pm/ 2-10pm/ 10pm-6am

About the business:

Our client are a leading print and packaging company that manufactures flexibles and sustainable solutions. Now looking for an additional No1 Wide Web Flexo Printer & Trainee Printer to join the growing team.

Requirements for a Wide Web Flexo Printer:

  • A proven history in the Flexo graphic industry as a highly skilled Printer
  • Experience running an 8 colour press
  • A drive and passion in print to produce and exceed quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency and waste

Additional Skills & Requirements for Wide Web Flexo Printer:

  • Maintain all housekeeping standards to ensure care and maintenance of equipment and sustain an organized, clean work environment free from debris and hazards.
  • Ensure that the press is run at optimum speed whilst ensuring all job instructions are followed accurately and meet the required quality standards.
  • Ensure that all instructions for the safe operation of any equipment is followed, and any PPE is worn, as required.
  • Carry out pre-inspection and ensure any malfunctions of equipment or difficulties with any job are reported.
  • Ability to mount own jobs when necessary
  • Dispense inks when required.
  • Ensure print quality is world class.
  • Manage and support print assistants in their role
  • Accurately record production data.
  • Work safely, following all safety policies and good working practice. Follow all procedures to ensure BRC requirements are adhered to at all times.
