PR Account Executive - B2B Tech


Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 from home) - Berkshire area
£28,000 - £30,000 + benefits

I'm currently working with a growing, high-performing PR agency that specialises in B2B technology clients. They're looking to bring on a PR Account Executive to support a range of exciting accounts across sectors including AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and digital technology.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 1+ year of PR experience who's looking to gain broader exposure across multiple clients and take on more responsibility in a fast-paced agency environment.

The Role
You'll work across a portfolio of innovative tech clients, playing a hands-on role in media relations, content creation, and campaign delivery. This is a varied position where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who enjoys being proactive and commercially aware.

You'll be involved in:

  • Identifying reactive PR opportunities within the news cycle

  • Creating engaging written content across multiple formats

  • Driving media outreach and building journalist relationships

  • Supporting wider campaign planning and execution

Key Responsibilities

Media Relations & Content

  • Monitor the news agenda to spot opportunities for client commentary

  • Write press releases, thought leadership articles, features, and blogs

  • Lead on media pitching and securing coverage

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists

Reporting & Campaign Support

  • Track, analyse, and report on media coverage

  • Compile monthly and campaign performance reports with key insights

  • Support account teams with campaign planning and delivery

  • Assist with event coordination where required

Client Management

  • Support with client communications and day-to-day account handling

  • Provide updates, insights, and recommendations on activity

  • Work closely with senior team members to ensure high-quality delivery

About You

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in PR (agency or in-house)

  • Strong writing skills with experience creating PR content

  • Proactive mindset with a strong interest in news and media

  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple deadlines

  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal

  • Experience using tools like Cision or ResponseSource is a bonus
