About the Company:

KRG are partnering exclusively with an independent marketing agency that specialises in ecommerce to recruit a Paid Media Lead.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing independent agency that partners with ambitious ecommerce brands, delivering commercially driven paid media strategies that generate measurable growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the Paid Media department, developing and mentoring a talented team while managing a portfolio of the agency's most strategic client accounts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching others, driving team performance and taking ownership, whilst remaining hands-on with campaign strategy, activation and optimisation.

The Role:

This is first role would suit candidates who enjoy both leadership and activation.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Paid Media team, ensuring they are supported, challenged and continuously developing through coaching, mentoring and regular performance reviews. You'll act as the senior point of contact for your team, helping to prioritise workloads, maintain high standards and deliver exceptional client results.

Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll oversee a portfolio of the agency's most important strategic ecommerce clients, leading paid media strategy while remaining hands-on across campaign activation, optimisation and performance analysis.

Working across Google Ads and Meta, you'll lead by example and ensure campaigns are delivered to the highest possible standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Paid Media specialists
  • Conduct regular 1-1s, coaching sessions and performance reviews
  • Support career progression and identify training and development opportunities
  • Oversee team performance, quality assurance and campaign best practice
  • Manage a portfolio of the agency's most strategic ecommerce clients
  • Build long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Develop and implement commercially focused paid media strategies
  • Remain hands-on with campaign activation and optimisation across Google Search, Shopping and Meta
  • Analyse performance data and identify opportunities for growth
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes

About You

We're looking for an experienced agency Paid Media professional who has a genuine passion for developing people and delivering outstanding client results. The role could suit an established Senior Paid Media Manager, Account Director or Paid Lead looking for their next step.

You must have:

  • Previous experience leading, mentoring or managing Paid Media professionals ( A team of any size )
  • Previous agency experience
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and performance management experience
  • Hands-on experience managing campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • Strong experience managing ecommerce accounts
  • Experience managing large SKU catalogues
  • Strong knowledge of Google Search, Google Shopping and Paid Social
  • Product feed management experience
  • Experience using Google Merchant Center
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and a strategic mindset
  • The ability to balance people leadership with hands-on campaign management
